Maison Kitsuné and Eastpak, together again
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Weeks after Maison Kitsuné unveiled its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, we were able to discover one of the surprises that they had prepared for us and that they were keeping secret. This surprise is none other than the collaboration with Eastpak in which they celebrate functionality and style without concessions.
Available October 31, 2022, Paris and Tokyo (Maison Kitsuné) and urban streetwear icon (Eastpak) merge once again to unite their communities and present their sensibility of functionality and elegance with a new series of bold accessories; accessories that are sure to be seen on the streets of major fashion capitals.
Kitsuné, founded in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, has (successfully) carved a niche for itself in today’s market and has become an iconic lifestyle brand, cultivating a unique and inspiring Art de Vivre, as well as a benchmark for cool apparel and accessories. That’s why Eastpak has once again teamed up with the brand to create the perfect accessories for Fall/Winter 22 with a variety of high-end technical fabrics.
The result is a capsule collection that draws on Maison Kitsuné’s tailoring and playful vision, along with Eastpak’s expertise in functional and distinctive streetwear pieces. Fusing elements of both universes into a unique and compelling design language, the collection celebrates uncompromising functionality and style. The capsule features four styles that come in a base color of black, as well as a signature “Camo Fox” print.
