Referencing the socio-cultural subjects in Koshun Takami’s “Battle Royale”, Sean McGirr proposes the intimate wardrobe of a resistant youth – alive amongst the downfall of the school unit, tumbling into a cold establishment.
Applying the codes of the school uniform to a masculine plane, Sean McGirr explores a refined silhouette in strong layers. The result is an intuitive look, where smart tailoring and street spirit converge. The palette carries a sci-fi subtext in tones of navy, pale grey mélange. charcoal and taupe pink.
