Filippo Fanini‘s Spring/Summer 2015 collection is dedicated to a young and modern character who’s living the life of an urban poet, synchronised with the heartbeat of the megapolis yet dreaming of vivid nature in his soul. Bringing together the scientific and natural inspirations Filippo Fanini develops an original geometrical pattern of sound-waves that appears on every garment either as embossed ornament or as numerous hand-cut lines. Each garment and accessory is cotton lined with a specifically developed digital print of a surrealistic landscape ‘solaris’, that comes in two options: frozen and inflamed.
The colour palette remains cold and fresh for both men’s and woman’s wear, suggesting celestial as the ‘it’ colour of the season. Loose and easy shoulder line for both mens and women’s wear next to the geometry and precision of the cut, deliberates the silhouette yet keeping it body-conscious.
