Video COS X SERPENTINE GALLERIES

To mark support of the Serpentine Galleries Park Nights, a series of events on art, music, literature and film at the 2014 Pavilion in London, COS have designed two pairs of limited edition shoes.
Only available online and at London Regent Street store, they are re-worked classics, drawing inspiration from the COS archive and proceeds from their sale will be donated to the Serpentine Trust. Based on the shape of our classic oxford shoes, these are a slip-on style with a neat lace-up front and cut-out back. With a stacked leather sole and heel, they have a padded leather insole for comfort.
This year, the pavilion has been designed by Chilean architect Smiljan Radic. Said to be one of the “most unusual and interesting structures”, the design consists of a translucent fiberglass dome resting on a bed of large rocks. Inspired by “The Selfish Giant’s Castle” by Oscar Wilde.
