Matiere presented its Fall/Winter 2016 collection during New York Fashion Week: Men’s, exploring a sense of modern migration, updating the traditional traveler with the functionalities to explore today’s world.

Mixed fabrications reflect the blend of cultural inspirations, from the edgelands of England to the cityscapes of New York. This duality between the natural and the urban is expressed through the use of materials on modern silhouettes. Specialty wools fashion a large part of the collection. Italian virgin wool and woolen gauze plaids provide both texture and warmth, while soft comfort comes in the form of cashmere, Kid Mohair and crinkled jersey. Varied weights and layered styling play a crucial role in the collection, enabling the traveler to adapt to his next adventure.
