Finally, yes! The new Grizzly Bear’s album is out!
Their fourth studio album is called Shields is something entirely different for Grizzly Bear. Instead of ressurecting the past, this album is different to the particular style. This one is more accesible for everybody, so even if you are Britney Spears’ biggest fan, you will also enjoy this album.
It’s definitely got more pop but it still manages to keep the warm and spiritual atmosphere which make up the Grizzly Bear sound that is adored by many . To complement the sound, the album’s artwork is the 1981 Richard Diebenkorn print ‘Blue Club’, which is a perfect accompaniment to their new style. Give ‘Department of Eagles’ a listen and don’t miss ‘Sun in your eyes’ the last song of Shields which is the perfect closing track for this almost perfect album.
