Eastpak unveils the lastest episode of its urban video saga in Japan “A Day With” and presents Shinichi Ogawa, an urban architect born in 1955 in Yamaguchi.

After obtaining a scholarship in Washington State University and being awarded, he heads to prestigious Paul Rudolph and Arquitectonica’s architectures offices in New York. He establishes his own office as Shinichi Ogawa & Associates in Tokyo and Hiroshima in 1986, attempting to realize his own vision of architecture through his conceptual philosophy “Minimal is Maximal”.

Shinichi Ogawa is also a notorious professor at Kinki University School of Engineering in Japan, and a visiting professor at Edinburgh College of Art, and also at the School of Architecture in the UK. Shinichi Ogawa was awarded several times for his architectural works, including the DuPont Corian Design Competition Grand Prize, or the INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AWARD in 2007.
