Kicking Off Ibiza’s Summer at The Standard with Nabihah Iqbal
by Adriano Batista

The Standard Ibiza recently kicked off the summer with a cool event at their rooftop spot, UP. It’s a place with great views and a laid-back vibe, and they threw a party to show off what they’ve got planned for the season. Nabihah Iqbal was there, playing live music while everyone checked out the Old Town views.

The night was all about good food and chill vibes. Some of the coolest Ibiza residents were there, trying out some new dishes from Chef David Ruano. The menu had a mix of Latin and Japanese stuff, like Shrimp Tempura Tacos and Spicy Tuna Uramaki. Plus, there were some fancy drinks like Veuve Clicquot Champagne, and Moscow Mules mixed with Belvedere Pure Organic.
The Standard is inviting everyone to come by and try the new menu at UP, especially during happy hour from 4 to 6 pm. If you’re up early, they’ve got smoothies and pastries from 10 am. And they’re planning to have DJs playing from late afternoon into the evening.

The hotel’s right in the middle of Old Town, close to the waterfront. It’s got this cool white building with 53 rooms and a private spot called Casa Privada. Inside, it’s all colorful, full of plants and great decoration. There’s also a restaurant on the ground floor that’s open to everyone, serving up fresh food and drinks.

Up on the roof, you can hang out by the pool and get some great views of the Castle of Ibiza. The Standard isn’t trying to be like the big clubs in Ibiza, but it’s still a fun place to be at night. You can grab a bite, have a few drinks, and enjoy the starry sky until late.
