Puma x Rombaut’s Shanghai Event

ROMBAUT and PUMA held a launch event for Season 2 of their collaboration on November 29th in Shanghai. The private gathering took place at Heim and was presented with the Shaolin Kungfu Cultural Center.
The evening was themed around the discipline of kung fu. Designer Mats Rombaut, recently named Belgian Designer of the Year, has a long interest in martial arts. For him, kung fu represents the dedication, focus, and time required to master a craft, mirroring the philosophy behind his designs. This focus on balance and discipline connected to the collection’s “Levitation” theme.
The event began with a live kung fu performance led by Master Yan ‘An and his students. Later, guests participated in a guided meditation session. The night concluded with a DJ set by Mats Rombaut, marking the launch of the collection’s second chapter.
