Saint Laurent has opened a new store in Beijing. It is the first Rive Droite location in Asia. The store is under the direction of the brand’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello.

The Rive Droite concept is a special part of Saint Laurent. Vaccarello created it as a tribute to the brand’s historic Rive Gauche line from the 1960s. That line helped make fashion more accessible. Today, Rive Droite moves beyond just clothes. It offers a wider experience that includes unique collaborations, cultural projects, and artistic expression.

The store is on a corner in Beijing’s Sanlitun area. The outside is made of concrete with a texture like corduroy. This gives a modern, luxurious feel to the street. Inside, the store has three levels. The design uses layers of materials and light to create a balanced and quiet visual style. Soft glowing panels and an open layout make the space feel calm. The top floor has a private salon for a more exclusive visit. Each room connects to the others. The furniture and art pieces tie the space to the brand’s cultural history. Selected items include chairs by Bob Wilson, a daybed by Pierre Chapo, and works by designers like Charlotte Perriand and Frank Lloyd Wright. These choices reflect the collecting spirit of the brand’s founder, Yves Saint Laurent.

The boutique carries everything from Saint Laurent. This includes women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, accessories, and fine jewelry. It also has the full Rive Droite collection. This collection features limited edition items, one-of-a-kind pieces, books, vinyl records, and photographs. The space will also host art exhibitions, pop-up events, and performances.

To mark the opening, Saint Laurent is launching its first Snow Edition collection. This line includes ready-to-wear, footwear, and high-performance ski equipment. It blends technical function with the brand’s signature style.
