sacai × Carhartt WIP: Third Capsule Collection
by Adriano Batista
For Fall 2025, sacai and Carhartt WIP continue a dialogue that began with a shared vocabulary but distinct voices. Carhartt WIP brings the language of workwear: durable, functional, and rooted in utility. sacai arrives with its signature approach: a deconstructive and recombinant eye. The result is a 19-piece capsule that feels both familiar and entirely new.
The collection’s strength lies in its hybrid pieces. It takes iconic forms and reimagines their anatomy. The classic Detroit jacket is fused with a sacai quilted jacket, layering insulation and canvas. A leather jacket is recast in a cropped silhouette with an asymmetrical front, borrowing the attitude of a biker jacket but presenting it in a fresh way.

The collection will launch on October 3rd globally, following early previews in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Korea. Each piece is marked with a woven label bearing both brands’ names, a small but definitive seal on a partnership that continues to find new ground.
