For Burberry’s Winter 2025 campaign, creative director Daniel Lee does something simple and smart: he brings the clothes back home. The story began with the fabrics and a place: Wolterton Hall, a Palladian masterpiece. The campaign, shot in its halls and gardens, is about finishing the story they started on the runway.

As Lee says, “We wanted to bring the collection to life and tell the story behind all those incredible textiles.” And you feel that. This isn’t a cold set; it’s a living, breathing space. The cast, a mix of established names and new faces, adds to the feeling of a narrative. British actor Rupert Everett, model Jeny Howorth, and Luther Ford (from The Crown) are pictured alongside models like Lina Zhang and Iris Lasnet.

The key styles feel like a direct translation of this environment. The iconic trench coat is amplified, made in shredded viscose, corduroy, or short embossed leather. There’s a new volume to things, like the oversized Ellingham coat. You see the influence of the majestic interiors everywhere: velvet brocades that echo William Morris designs become elegant coats and suits. Cross-stitched knits look like they were pulled from historic tapestries on the walls.

The collection masterfully blends two classic British styles: the sharp tailoring of Savile Row and the practical, comfortable feel of country clothing. Wool and corduroy suits are paired with jodhpur trousers or pleated tartan skirts. Brushed wool makes turtlenecks, sweaters, and even joggers feel luxurious.

Finally, the accessories ground the fantasy. Footwear takes country shapes and reinterprets them with embossed leathers that recall luxurious interiors. Bags like the new Bridle style fuse saddle shapes with elegant hardware, while the Highlands bag gets a distressed, checkered finish.
