Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER has always thrived in the space between disruption and beauty.
Following the distorted silhouettes and deliberate asymmetry of the FW women’s collection, this season dials back the chaos without losing the poetry. The result is a lineup that feels more wearable, yet still unmistakably UNDERCOVER. Takahashi’s signature disruption is still present, just softened, like a rebellion that’s learned to move through the world without always leaving scars.
These are clothes designed for daily life, but with the same philosophical undercurrent: beauty that doesn’t conform, but adapts. The collection doesn’t abandon its avant-garde roots; it recontextualizes them. The asymmetry is gentler, the distortions more refined, proof that Takahashi’s vision can be as potent in restraint as it is in provocation.
