Paul Smith Returns to Pitti Uomo for SS25
by Anna Barr
Paul Smith has announced that he will be presenting the new Spring/Summer 2025 collection in Florence at Pitti Immagine Uomo 106 Edition. The British designer returns to the show with a special event set for the opening day of its 106th edition on June 11, 2024.

“I was one of the first guest designers to be invited to show at Pitti back in 1993 and I think that it’s a wonderful moment that highlights some of the best menswear around in a very real way. I am looking forward to presenting my collection in a more personal setting, the return to Florence feels like just the right thing to do.” Paul Smith announced in a statement.
Since 1970, Paul Smith has been closely associated with the suit. Paul was a member of a new generation of designers that brought a whimsical touch to the traditional rules of formal wear, resulting in something truly original while honoring history and contributing to the revival of menswear tailoring. The exciting new announcement of Paul Smith opening Pitti shows that the suit will never die, but evolve. With many people more conscious of buying better and designers mapping out a sustainability plan, investment pieces are the way forward, and there’s a generation of young men who are looking at investing in their first suit. We look forward to seeing how the brand will tap in on the recoding of male dress, especially today where we see the suit as worn from casual to formal.
Upon the announcement, Raffaello Napoleone, CEO, Pitti Immagine added “Paul Smith is a visionary designer, a creative with endless curiosity, an inexhaustible enthusiast, a gentleman of natural elegance, an ambassador of British creativity, a fashion lover, and a biker. And for us – for me personally and for Pitti Immagine – he is a great friend.”
