Save The Duck & Satoshi Yamane
by Adriano B.
Save The Duck is back for Fall/Winter 2020-21 with a new collection that combines a selection of high-performance and highly technological fabrics with the brand’s 100% animal-friendly methods.
Titled “Urban Collection“, the new range inspired by the fascinating beliefs of the ancient peoples of Tibet and follows in the footsteps of the great achievements of Kuntal A. Joisher, the World’s first Vegan to scale Everest wearing a suit created by Save The Duck. Fashion elements are blended with highly technological items of outdoor clothing from the 100% animal-free quilted jacket brand, creating clean, streamlined, minimal and modern lines.
In addition to this, Save The Duck also released a special capsule collection titled “Skyscraper”, by the Japanese designer Satoshi Yamane, with items of an urban and essential character, inspired by the highest peaks of the mountains and the uncontaminated woody landscapes, in a perfect marriage between materials and details selected for high performance.
This collection shows inspiration from heavenly places like the Ladakh Valley in Kashmir and the Himalayas, reflecting the primary values of nature and its incessant transformation, as well as those of the matriarchal traditions of the Brokpa people, bound to ancestral beliefs that are undeniably fascinating.
