Kendrick Lamar is the new Chanel ambassador

The arrival of Matthieu Blazy – former Creative Director of Bottega Veneta – at Chanel is bringing with it a lot of news, such as the appointment of the American rapper Kendrick Lamar as ambassador of the fashion house and its eyewear line.
Lamar is not an unknown face for the firm, since in 2023 he began to collaborate assiduously with it, wearing their clothes to attend events such as the well-known and popular Met Gala or their respective haute couture fashion show.
What are Kendrick, Matthieu, and Chanel up to? At the moment, little is known, except that everything points to the fact that he will be the star of the next Chanel campaign, which will be unveiled this week. But in the meantime, the artist had this to say about it: ‘Chanel has a timeless legacy and that is always something I can get behind. Since they don’t make clothes for men, I knew it would have to be glasses.’
