It was something that is not easily forgotten. When the young Catalan designer Javier Guijarro presented his collection at the 22nd edition of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Talent Madrid he managed to silence an audience that was impressed. And understandably so. Javier, who has already dressed international artists, has managed to create with his collection “Debut(i)” a series of garments where form and substance, silhouette and sensuality, quality and composition are respected.
There are no big bangs, no noise or extravagance, Javier does not need them, ingenuity and good taste are more than enough. His creations breathe the maturity of a good wine, of the craftsmanship of any pottery… when someone wears them they feel a sense of fullness, a breath of fresh air. Now, these garments can finally be purchased on the designer’s website. A huge door opens not only for Javier, but also for those who enjoy real fashion, the one that has character and does not understand passing trends. Real clothes, and isn’t that what it’s all about?
