Introducing Marta Guardiola: Motorcycle Meets Tailoring in New Collection
by Adriano Batista
Emerging designer Marta Guardiola is revving things up with her latest collection. It’s a wild mix of motorcycle gear and classic tailoring, inspired by her love of bikes and a desire to redefine masculinity.
Guardiola’s Spring/Summer 2025 line is all about capturing the thrill of the ride. Think sleek tailoring with a kick of motorcycle attitude. It’s a nod to legendary racer Barry Sheene, who wasn’t afraid to push limits.
This collection isn’t afraid to get a little rough around the edges. It blends ideas of danger and class, like mixing tough biker vibes with sharp cuts. Cool colors like black, white, and gray keep things simple, letting the unique shapes take center stage.
Remember those bulky knee and shoulder pads bikers wear? Guardiola takes those safety features and turns them into cool design details. They go from crash protection to symbols of strength and never giving up.
Quality over quantity is the name of the game here. Guardiola uses great materials – think comfy wool, airy cotton, and luxurious silk – to create handcrafted pieces. She even teamed up with a talented jeweler to design special belt buckles inspired by motorcycle tracks.
