Fashion designer Ashish Gupta, known for his namesake label, steps into the world of photography with a new limited-edition book titled “Looking for Now.” This collaboration with House of Voltaire promises a glimpse into a personal and provocative exploration of queer desire.

The book features 64 original photographs. Celebrating “queer longing” in all its forms, the work promises to be an intimate and thought-provoking exploration. The release coincides with Studio Voltaire’s current exhibition, “Beryl Cook / Tom of Finland,” further emphasizing the celebration of non-mainstream perspectives on sexuality.

All sales proceeds will go towards supporting Studio Voltaire’s artistic and public programs, a non-profit organization known for its worldwide influence.

Mark your calendars for the launch party on July 27th, where Ashish will be signing copies at Studio Voltaire. There’s an added perk for the first few buyers: an original polaroid taken by the artist himself.

Ashish describes his work as “full of joy, humor, longing, desire, and more than a little tenderness about sex and sexiness.”

“Looking for Now” offers a unique perspective, available for purchase globally through houseofvoltaire.org or their permanent store in London.
