Diane Pernet & Dover Street Market Paris Present “ASVOFF16”
by Adriano Batista
The Dover Street Market becomes the stage for a cinematic celebration as Diane Pernet’s ASVOFF Film Festival returns. It’s a three-day event filled with short films, documentaries, master classes, and live performances. This year, artist Michèle Lamy is leading the charge, and the festival is all about getting involved and having a great time.
It’s a place where new filmmakers and fresh ideas get a spotlight. With 30 films from all over the world, there’s something for everyone. The jury, including Michèle Lamy and other big names in the industry, will be picking out the best of the best.
ASVOFF isn’t just about watching movies; it’s about talking about what matters. This year, they’re diving into topics like cultural and environmental issues, and even AI films. Plus, there’s a special program for kids and teens who are passionate about climate change.
Diane Pernet says ASVOFF is more than just a film festival; it’s a chance for the film world to tackle important issues. It’s a celebration of diversity and dreams, showing that we’re all in this together.
