For a few seasons now, the iconic British Barbour jacket has once again become a must-have for any fashion insider and has been reimagined by different brands, such as New York-based Noah, which has done it for the fifth year in a row.

Both parts, for the Fall/Winter 2024, have taken the tailoring and workwear styles of the 80s and fused and combined them with different warm fabrics such as wool and cotton and with a colour palette that’s right for this time of year. The result is a range of jackets and coats, attractive to wear from the moment one looks at them.

Ian Bergin – Barbour’s menswear director – said of the collab: “A fifth-year collaboration with Noah is fantastic, and this AW24 collection really feels like an evolution of our previous collaborations, which have been received well by both audiences. Brendon’s interpretation of Barbour always feels creative and innovative while respectfully nodding to our roots – it’s this which makes the partnership such a natural fit.”

While Brendon Babenzien – Noah’s creative director – said: “For this season’s Barbour collaboration, we stuck to the classic jacket shapes we’ve always loved from them. We’ve used some of our favourite fabrics like Casentino wool, Donegal wool, and cotton canvas that feel right for the season. We always aim for materials that are hardwearing and built to last. Barbour jackets, more than any other, have a timeless quality that allows them to pass from one generation to the next.”

The Barbour and Noah collection is now available to buy on their respective websites and in selected stores.
