Baracuta and Barbour join forces once again for a Fall/Winter collection that’s both a nod to the past and a fresh take on heritage classics. This collaboration goes beyond just creating clothes, it’s a story about community, music, and a shared love for all things British.

The collection centers around Baracuta’s legendary G9 Harrington jacket, a garment that’s been a symbol of British subcultures since the 1950s. From the Teddy Boys to the Britpop generation, the G9 has transcended trends and become a timeless piece.

This new range pays tribute to those who made the G9 their own, offering a wider selection of outerwear, apparel, and accessories that blend the aesthetics of both brands. Think Barbour’s signature wax cotton meeting Baracuta’s sharp tailoring, or the classic Bedale jacket getting a modern twist with a dog-ear collar. The collection doesn’t just mimic the past; it reimagines iconic pieces for the future.

The campaign itself is a visual love letter to Manchester, the birthplace of Baracuta. Shot in the city’s historic Northern Quarter, it features red brick streets and the remnants of industrial buildings, all paying homage to Manchester’s role as a cradle of British style and music. The campaign even draws inspiration from L.S. Lowry’s iconic paintings, with their stark industrial landscapes and “matchstick men.”
