Givenchy presents the men’s statement bag for SS22: the sporty, streamlined G ZIP
by Adriano Batista

A standout for its pure lines and distinctive hardware elements, the G Zip is the men’s luxury accessory of the season. First revealed by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams at the Spring/Summer 2022 show, this original nylon bag features a specially developed 4G zipper and bold Givenchy lettering that make a distinct style statement, yet it is also designed for unprecedented functionality, moving seamlessly from backpack to carryall, gym bag or weekender.

Fitted with an articulated metal tab — the latest addition to the hardware statements Matthew M. Williams has established as a signature for the House — a bespoke zipper is stamped with the 4G emblem on each element and runs the full length of the bag, giving it a unique attitude.

Discreet details, such as top and bottom sliders and side handles, enhance ease of use. The multi-carry G Zip can be worn as a backpack, slung over one or two shoulders, worn cross-body, or hand-carried to suit any mood or occasion. A flat pocket and an inner pocket optimize functionality by keeping essentials discreetly accessible.

The G Zip in black nylon with contrasting white lettering will be available in Givenchy boutiques and on givenchy.com starting on February 18th, 2022.
