Many were looking forward to it and no wonder, given that since the arrival of designer Nicola Brognano at Italian fashion house Blumarine, it has only gone from strength to strength, thanks to the vision that the creative director has given it.

Sure you know that Blumarine’s show has just been held during Milan Fashion Week (MFW), the inspiration for which has been the world of mermaids and everything related to them, taken this time towards a more gothic side.

Well, in this Spring/Summer 23 proposal and for the first time, Nicola has included among the cast of models 4 boys who have appeared on the catwalk wearing his creations. As was to be expected, once they came out, the rumors about the fashion house’s possible entry into the men’s design market went through the roof.

The looks we’re referring to are mainly composed of sheer, long-sleeved, strapless tops with appliqués, combined with wide-leg trousers and are very much in keeping with the designer’s aesthetic and with what he’s been offering us lately.

Will Blumarine finally enter the world of men’s fashion? Only the brand and Nicola Brognano know, but let’s hope so because the little we have seen is pretty good.
