Radiant with warmth and light, and offering evocative sound, Volta Jazz is an original film by artist Joshua Woods. Introducing Wales Bonner for Spring/Summer 2022, the film reflects on the inspirations for the collection – the orchestral jazz music of Burkina Faso in the 1960s and ‘70s, and the time-honored tradition of West African studio portraiture, notably the work of Burkinabe artist Sanlé Sory.
