Gant has opened a club in London. But it is not just a store. For one month, the American sportswear brand has taken over the Mister Nice restaurant in Mayfair, transforming it into The Gant House.

The space is built to feel like a sophisticated club, inspired by the American East Coast and Gant’s own preppy history. When you walk in, you enter The Dining Room. It is an elegant and cozy space meant to embody East Coast hospitality. For the duration of the takeover, the restaurant will serve a special menu of American classics with a French twist. The plates and glasses themselves are custom-made, inspired by Gant’s collegiate roots. Even the small details, like matchboxes and coasters, pay homage to the brand’s Ivy League style.

Next door, The Lounge offers a different mood. With an oak-paneled bar, soft lighting, and a retro soundtrack, it’s a place for board games and a curated selection of wine.

On Friday evenings, The Gant House will host events with a rotating program of music and art. And for those who want to take the feeling home, Gant has opened a separate pop-up store nearby at 20 Davies Street. It will carry a selection of the new collection: signature shirts, blazers, knitwear, and more.

The Gant House opened during London Fashion Week with a party for friends of the brand. Now, from September 19 to October 15, the doors are open to everyone.
