The Gaffers: PUMA x KidSuper
by Adriano Batista
PUMA and Colm Dillane of KidSuper are back with a new collection. Their latest work continues to mix the world of football with unfiltered creative expression.
This chapter draws from the game’s most animated figures: the coaches. The campaign, called “The Gaffers,” pits two archetypes against each other. A loud, brash manager clashes with a suave, stylish one in a showdown of clipboard versus cologne. This story-driven presentation features a cast of models, with Dillane himself making an appearance. It also offers a first look at the new KidSuper FC pitch, a rooftop football space in Brooklyn.
Dillane’s original artwork defines the clothing. His expressive visuals and distinct color palette transform sportswear classics. The collection includes a color-blocked windbreaker and a patterned T7 tracksuit. A long, hooded down coat is covered in playful doodles and KidSuper FC branding. The line also offers women’s leggings and a long-sleeve shirt, with accessories like the Grip Bag, a beanie, and a cap sharing the same vibrant energy.
The collaboration also introduces two new footwear styles. The PUMA Brasil, a low-profile design from the 1970s, brings football history with two gum-soled colorways and faded uppers. The modern V-S1, inspired by 2000s performance models, is updated for 2025 with asymmetrical lacing and strong accents. For this partnership, KidSuper gives it an upper that mimics a grassy pitch.
