Slam Jam and Fila launching Redefined: a new capsule focused on redefining some iconic garments from Fila’s archive
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta

Fila is unstoppable and has taken a liking to the world of collabs. After presenting its collaborations with Y/Project and Aries, it’s back to present another one. Which one? Slam Jam x Fila.
Originally from the same country, the two Italian brands are joining forces for their first joint project called Redefined. It’s a new capsule of forward-thinking clothing experiments, mainly focused on redefining some of the most iconic garments from Fila’s archive, resulting in a study of functionality and multiple applications to sport.
The collection features 7 unisex items marked out by co-branded patches, the iconic perforated Slam Jam logo, and colorways in shades of grey, white and red. Highlights include a frost grey windbreaker and a track jacket crafted in super light nylon, which can be combined with a pinstriped running top, training shorts and a running hat to create the ultimate track and field ensemble. Off the track, we can find a set of polo shirts paired perfectly with a pair of track trousers in moon rock and dark grey.
Finally and to match all the pieces mentioned above is the nylon sports bag or a light corded sacoche.
Slam Jam x Fila Redefined will be available on May 21st exclusively at slamjam.com and selected retailers. In celebration of the launch, Slam Jam are hosting a party with Evian Christ on May 19th in Milan.
