Sacai x Carhartt WIP FW23 Campaign
by Adriano Batista
sacai is gearing up for an exciting collaboration with Carhartt WIP. Set to drop on September 8th, the collab promises some seriously stylish results.
The genius behind this partnership lies in sacai’s quest for innovative workwear-inspired designs. Teaming up with Carhartt WIP, a true pioneer in the world of workwear, sacai is bringing fresh energy to the scene. Drawing from Carhartt WIP’s original workwear pieces, the collaboration is all about marrying their iconic duck fabric jackets with sacai’s signature nylon twill fabric. Adding in sacai’s distinctive knit technique and other iconic touches, the result is workwear that’s been remixed for everyday wear.
Layers and vibrant colors take the spotlight in this collection, where the fusion of both brands is celebrated in a way that’s both rebellious and harmonious. The influence of the film INTERSTELLAR lingers here, acting as a wellspring of inspiration for sacai’s FW23 collection.
For those in the know, keep an eye out for the special pop-up experience at DSML (Dover Street Market London) from September 6th, as well as at BELOWGROUND Hong Kong and Shanghai Taikoo Li Qiantan from September 7th. And that’s not all – an exclusive T-shirt awaits you at sacai retailers and their online store. If you’re looking to get ahead of the curve, pre-sale opportunities are available at sacai Aoyama, sacai’s online store, DSML’s online store, and Carhartt’s online store for orders spanning the US, UK, and Australia.
