Rewind and Reclaim: Wax London FW25 Collection
by Adriano Batista
As Wax London approaches its tenth year, it is taking a moment to look back. The new Fall/Winter 2025 collection is called “Rewind and Reclaim.” It is a reflection on the people and influences that have shaped the brand’s first decade. This collection is not about reinvention, but about honoring its journey and reimagining its foundations for today.
The inspiration comes from the 1970s, a decade known for its strong sense of self and lasting style. Wax London translates this spirit through a modern lens. The colors are a mix of earthy browns, deep teals, and a vivid pop of cherry red, most notably on a signature leather jacket. The fabrics tell the story: winter checks, printed corduroy, fluffy yarns, and a recurring paisley pattern create a rich, tactile experience.
The overshirt, a staple for the brand, returns in new forms. There are versions in printed cord, heavy crinkle cotton, and wool-blend checks with a bobbled texture. The collection also introduces more tailored options and new trouser shapes, alongside cable knits and outerwear built for the weather.
To launch the collection, the brand created a film titled “Cut From The Same Cloth.” It is their most ambitious project yet. The film follows two brothers rediscovering their past, echoing the personal relationships that first inspired Wax London. It is a narrative about family, connection, and the clothes that carry our memories.
As co-founder Tom Holmes says, this collection is a homecoming. It is a celebration of craft and community, and a confident step into the future, built firmly on the character of its past.
