Nike introduces its latest advance in high-performance footwear design with the future of the planet in mind, the Nike Pegasus Turbo Next Nature. Made with at least 50% recycled material, this new running model uses 100% recycled Flyknit yarns in the upper to create a more secure fit.

Nike created the Peg Turbo Next Nature with insights learned throughout Nike Running. In 2018, the first Peg Turbo was born out of a key finding from the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%: Leaving out the carbon fiber plate while retaining the Nike ZoomX foam in the midsole was effective for a system based around daily training. In 2021, the Air Zoom AlphaFly Next Nature proved that a performance shoe — and a pinnacle racing shoe, no less — could be made with recycled materials. Recycled ZoomX foam and recycled Flyknit yarns were used to create a model that cleared a new benchmark for Nike: its first performance shoe made with at least 50 percent recycled content by weight.
