Ludovic de Saint Sernin‘s Spring/Summer 2025 collection is a sartorial ode to the world of dance. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Pina Bausch, Rudolf Nureyev, and Robert Mapplethorpe, the designer reimagines the iconic silhouettes and movements of ballet into a collection that is both provocative and refined.

At the heart of the collection is a tension between the statuesque and the carnal. Ballet staples are transformed into pieces that are both innocent and erotic, with elements of bondage and fetishism seamlessly integrated into the design. The fabrics echo the fluidity of dance, with raw-edged jackets composed of fluttering layers of virgin wool and delicate chiffon tank tops. The designer’s signature eyelet trim and laced straps add a touch of bondage-inspired edginess to the collection.
