Drôle de Monsieur Spring/Summer 2023 Lookbook

Inspired by their own roots, Drôle de Monsieur co-founders Dany Dos Santos and Maxime Schwab paid tribute to traditional Portuguese earthenware, Azulejos.
From the blue “Azul” to sunny yellow, from greige to terracotta, Drôle de Monsieur’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection indeed catalogs some of the most loyal colors of these iconic ceramics.
Azulejos prints and ornamental patterns also bring a poetic touch to a collection widely inspired by the workers’ uniforms, streetwear and freshness of the southern lands: a reinterpretation of the carpenter trousers in corduroy contrasts with a delicate short-sleeve Cuban collared shirt, while washed denim pants bring an urban twist to a chic jersey polo.
