PUMA and the Japanese brand Liberaiders have teamed up for the first time to put a new spin on the classic PUMA Suede. They’ve called it “Destination Unknown,” and it features a unique hairy suede with a cool blue color and a paper crane design next to PUMA’s logo on the tongue. The shoe has a leather inside and metal lace tips with the Liberaiders logo.

The release is celebrated with a campaign directed by Liberaiders’ founder Mei Yong, honoring Beijing’s rock scene. It stars Gao Qi, a rock music pioneer in China, and musicians Ouyang and Huang Shaofeng.

The new PUMA x Liberaiders Suede will be out on June 8, 2024, at PUMA stores and some other retailers. Next year, they’re planning to drop a whole clothing line together.
