Qasimi Fall/Winter 2017

For this collection Khalid Al’Qasimi continued to use socio-political themes and was inspired by “Bed In” protest by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969 which took place in room 702 of the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel.

A new introduction to her style catalogue was a form of flat cap worn backwards, referencing 90’s Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff type cool.

Influenced by entrepreneur and pornographer Paul Raymond, Katie Eary flooded the catwalk with rich hue of purples and orange, cashmere and silks, creating an atmosphere only fitting to underground 70s Soho.
