Parisian-based independent footwear brand b o t h is all about transformation for this upcoming fall. Taking inspiration from the ethereal beauty of the moth, both embraces the ability to change, to adapt and evolve, and to choose one’s identity through metamorphosis you live during the night or day. The rebellious and non-conformist spirit follows in the footsteps of shoe designers from the 90s such as Steven Madden or Calvin Klein.
From bold materials borrowed from punk culture such as bashed leather, cowhide and denim, the brand remains versatile yet comfortable and gender inclusive. The moth has also been used as a strong symbol, one of a strong development in France and Europe since Covid, along with the opening of the first European flagship 6 rue de la Corderie, Paris – a symbol of rebirth and renewal.
