Tras las recientes exposiciones fotográficas de personajes claves de la cultura contemporánea como Ron Galella y Scott Schuman, la Galería Loewe Barcelona celebra el lanzamiento de Fanzine137, 19.137, presentando una selección exclusiva de algunas de las páginas del próximo número de la revista creada por Luis Venegas.
En un mundo en que las revistas de papel parecen convertirse en un mito del pasado, el editor LuisVenegas (Vitoria 1979),ha querido rendir homenaje a la edición impresa con una exposición centrada en publicaciones emblemáticas actualmente desaparecidas. Luis comenzó a coleccionar revistas cuando tenía sólo 13 años, y en la actualidad cuenta con una biblioteca personal de más de 7.000 ejemplares, entre los que se mezclan publicaciones mainstream con otras ‘raras’ o difíciles de encontrar. Cabe señalar que esta no es una selección de ‘grandes éxitos’, sino una muestra muy personal e íntima de páginas de revistas que han dejado de existir y que, por diversos motivos, han inspirado su trabajo editorial.
La inauguración oficial será el martes 13 de noviembre y la exposición podrá visitarse desde el 7 de noviembre hasta el 10 de enero en Galería Loewe (Paseo de Gracia, 91) en horario de 10 a 20 horas de lunes a domingo.
