Born in France, raised in Sao Paulo, and now living in New York, alternative musician Douglas Joyman got to fame when he was pretty young, playing in the successful French movie “The Chorus” which came out in 2004. It’s with his new EP “Nekuia” which came out during Valentine’s Day that Joyman is back and it’s all about love. To promote this project, the artist decided to bet on “Barbarella”, a romantic and elegant ballad. It comes along with a music video directed by Giovanna Gorassini and it features French actress Emmanuelle Seigner. The visual defines the art of beauty and also confirms how beautiful Venice is. ‘It is a declaration of love to Italian cinema through nostalgic reminiscences that I believe are necessary for the timeless creation’ said the director.
