Los Vladimirovich debuts in LOS ANGELES

10-days Pop Up Store
Los Vladimirovich ВЛАДИМИРОВИЧ Marath & Yurik Menswear Collective (LVM&Y.MC) will take their first step in the United States market with a 10-days pop up store on the iconic Melrose Ave. Based in cities around the world, with hand-tailored production in Mexico, the 20+ person collective will launch their eighth collection, Ur Heroes Are Ghosts, at 7711 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles CA 90046.
“We believe everyone is a citizen of the world, free from physical territories, and have built a working extended family from that ideal,” says a member of the collective, “With its ever evolving cultural scene and developing creative opportunities, we’ve all agreed Los Angeles is the perfect place to introduce LVM&Y.MC and continue expanding our community.”
The LVM&Y.MC design ethos is based on modern functionality, comfort, simplicity, quality and detail. For FW14, LVM&Y.MC presents Ur Heroes Are Ghosts, a 22-piece collection inspired by the narrative of a modern man’s life, transitioning from the countryside to the metropolis. Riffing on the literal and figurative meanings of “camouflage,” Ur Heroes Are Ghosts weaves camo prints into a tale of urban adaptation from rural origin. Consisting of “Basque-cut” pants, coats, shirts, and hoodies, as well as the expertly tailored jackets the brand has become known for, the line incorporates traditional camouflage and also Razzle Dazzle, a geometrical, Cubist design technique used to disguise war ships in WWI, now interpreted through cuts and triangular folds in the clothing.
