Vivienne Westwood and Eastpak collaborate for the first time to “SAVE OUR OCEANS”. Created from the plastic bottles that pollute our seas, this sustainable collection reinvents classic Eastpak designs with the activist touch of the British designer.

Eastpak strives to make its collections more sustainable, and this collaboration brings together two environmentally conscious brands to create responsive designs. The collection, made up of five models, uses recycled plastic to make the main fabric, linings, tights, trims, wrapping, ropes, and logos. Sturdy zippers, threads, and hardware are included to ensure the quality of the bags.

The designer has chosen and recreated several classic Eastpak styles to create these practical and useful designs, adding recycled black hardware and adjustable zippers for added durability. All designs feature the “Sea Creatures” print, first seen in Westwood’s “Propaganda” Fall/Winter Collection on 06/05. Inspired by 19th-century marine illustrations, it bears a black background and the slogan “SAVE OUR OCEANS” in eco-friendly silkscreen.
