When it seemed that we would never hear from Y/PROJECT again due to its closure, suddenly Marc Jacobs and his brand Heaven by Marc Jacobs came along and surprised us. How? By presenting a collaboration.

The launch, already available for purchase and perhaps with low stock, is made up of a selection of urban and punk style garments and accessories that bring together the identities of both parties. On the clothing side, there are denim sets consisting of extra-long sleeved jackets and jeans, shrunken hoodies with the logos of the two, or short-sleeved T-shirts; while on the accessories one, there are jewellery, bags, and belts, which stand out for the heart-shaped padlocks that accompany them.

As Heaven shared on Instagram when posting the images of the work, this project doesn’t appear to have arisen after the closure of Y/P, but rather they have been working on it for two years.

Concluding this news, the collection is accompanied by a campaign starring Ken Carson and Alana Champion.
