“Wish you were here” campaign by Burberry
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Just over three months to go until the hottest season of the year kicks off, and Burberry is well aware of this, that’s why, as usual, they’ve gone ahead of the rest and decided to unveil their Summer 2025 campaign.
“Wish you were here” is the name given to the latest launch of the British fashion house – creatively directed at the moment by Daniel Lee – whose protagonists are tennis player Jack Draper and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, among others.
The portfolio of images shot by Drew Vickers is accompanied by a new instalment of the High Summer capsule collection worn by the cast, consisting mainly of nautical-style garments such as shirts, trousers and swimwear paired with flip-flops, espadrilles and crochet or jacquard bags; but also a film shot on 35mm film in which the camera takes a short tour of a summer setting.
On the above, Lee commented: “We wanted to capture the joy of the British at play. A kind of kick-start to the summer. Burberry is a brand for all the seasons, don’t forget.”
Ready for summer? Burberry is!
