Swedish House Mafia – Moth to a flame feat The Weeknd
No need to introduce you to Canadian superstar The Weeknd who released in 2020 “After Hour”, including singles “Save Your Tears” and “Bling Light” which became successful worldwide. Same thing for mythical Swedish trio producers Swedish House Mafia who became famous for their electronic bangers. An album is coming out early 2022 and they just revealed their blockbuster single “Moth To A Flame” and trust us, you will hear it everywhere for sure!
GENER8ION – Neo surf feat 070 Shake
GENER8ION is a multidisciplinary collaborative project led by producer and composer Surkin and director Romain Gavras. The concept takes place in 2034, in a disillusioned and damaged world, with puzzling poetry embodied by idle youth and underlying violence. After a first EP released in 2016, GENER8ION makes his comeback with “Neo Surf” featuring Kayne West’s close collaborator 070 Shake. It comes along with a wonderful video directed by Romain Gavras, shot in Athens.
Anjimile – Stranger
Raised in Dallas and now based in North California, Anjimile has just signed to mythical label 4AD. His new single “Stranger,” is freshly out and it’s about a confrontation between their trans identity. Anjimile said in a statement. “I started testosterone about 3 or 4 years ago, and It’s been simultaneously liberating and alarming to note the changes to my mind and body over the years…‘Stranger’ is an admission to myself that, while I welcome all of those changes”
Metronomy – It’s good to be back
Following their previous album “Metronomy Forever” in 2019, one of the coolest and prolific bands of the UK, Metronomy is coming back on February 18th with a seventh record “Small World”. Freshly released, “It’s Good To Be Back” is a feel-good indie-pop track exploring their sense of humor and its video feels like the band is redefining their ascetic pop culture mood.
Snoh Aalegra – Neon peach ft. Tyler The Creator
LA-based Swedish singer and songwriter Snoh Aalegra rose to fame when her latest album “Ugh, Those Feels Again” came out in 2019. Following all the hype around this project, she came back last summer with a new masterpiece album ‘Temporary Highs In The Violet Skies”. This new LP includes “Neon Peach” featuring rapper Tyler The Creator and it’s definitely a feel-good banger!
Majid Jordan – Stars align feat Drake
Drake signed Toronto-based duo of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman mainly known as Majid Jordan on his label OVO Sound. Their third studio album “Wildest Dreams” just came out including a collaboration with Drake himself. It’s a smooth and sexy R’n’B track with some 90s vibes. Such a pleasant song!
Shygirl – Cleo
If you love Arca’s experimental pop you should definitely listen to UK rapper-producer Shygirl. Following the release of her latest single featuring Slowthai and her short movie “BLU”, she just dropped “Cleo”. Believe us or not but this track might be your next anthem if you want (or try) to vogue on the dance floor!
