Rahim Redcar – Deep Holes
Previously known as Christine and the Queens, Rahim Redcar is transformation and evolution of the French artist experimenting with a sound far away from his debut successful singles. This new era is being introduced with electronic and house track “Deep Holes”. A new album “HOPECORE” is scheduled for September 27 and will be promoted in a clubbing mode tour to be announced soon. Can’t wait to discover more about this Fantastic unusual magical artist.
Azakel – Smooth
Nigerian-born, London-raised artist Azekel returns with his highly anticipated new single “Smooth”. Set against the backdrop of Azekel’s rich musical heritage and modern influences, Smooth is poised to be a genre-defying track that blends soulful melodies with a contemporary edge, merging sounds heard in Afro House, Trip Hop, and R&B. A sound that Azekel states as “out of the box R&B”. Fans can expect a masterful fusion of sound that forces us to move yet speaks to both the heart and the soul, showcasing Azekel’s continued evolution as an artist.
Spencer Barnett – Chocolate pretzels
Rising indie-pop sensation Spencer Barnett makes his return with a brand new single called “Chocolate Pretzels”, giving fans a sweet taste of what’s to come from his highly anticipated EP, “Jigsaw”, scheduled to land on October 25th. This latest track showcases Spencer’s melodic indie style, blending dreamy acoustic guitar with his raw, resonant vocals. Though a rising force in today’s contemporary indie-pop scene, Barnett is able to capture a retro spirit in his sound that blends beautifully with his modern indie sensibilities, creating a sound that is timeless.
Montell Fist – What’s it take to be a star?
Genre-bending R&B sensation Montell Fish announced his forthcoming UK & EU tour “CHARLOTTE” in promotion of his album of the same name released last August via Virgin Music. This project is a raw collection of songs that explore the highs and lows of love, ambition, and self-actualization. It probes deep into themes of memory, attachment, loss, and growth, and the psychology behind all of these human experiences. While waiting to see him on stage, this latest track “What’s it take to be a star?” is pure magic.
The Halfway Kid – Ok, Sometimes I feel like exploding
British-Sudanese artist The Halfway Kid just released, “OK, Sometimes I Feel Like Exploding”, a song about working two jobs and being pulled in many different directions. A master storyteller – both relatable and urgent – Saeed Gadir, aka The Halfway Kid, will release his new album, “Myths in Modern Life”, on 18 October 2024, via F.A.N. Already building a solid live fanbase, playing 30 sold-out shows across the UK last year, The Halfway Kid is also set to play his biggest headline to date, performing at Lafayette to celebrate his debut album on 20 October 2024.
Jean Dawson – Houston
Our favorite artist to follow right now, Jean Dawson just announced his highly anticipated new album “Glimmer of God”, to be released on Oct 18 and shares a song like we’ve never heard from him, “Houston”. The track is brimming with beautiful pop and dance elements, honoring his mom’s love for 80’s music that shaped him as a child. The new album sees him throw himself into this new sonic realm and it is beautifully theatrical in nature.
Kiddy Smile – Make love (Que du Love, Pt.2)
French Ballroom and Queer Iconic musician and activist Kiddy Smile is back with a brand new single which was exclusively performed during the Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony. “Make Love (Que du Love, Pt 2)”, is a sequel of his collaboration with Belgium pop star Angèle’s song “Que du Love”. For the first time Kiddy Smile includes French in his lyrics and in the same time decided to put in the spotlight dancers he casted for the music video to expérimenté talents outside the ballroom community. It’s a whole mood and we love it.
