Jamie XX – Kill dem

Earlier this year, Jamie XX shared “Let’s Do It Again”, the first track since 2020. He also contributed to his The XX bandmate Oliver Sim’s debut solo album in production and even remixed one of its tracks “GMT”. For now, he is back with “Kill Dem” which was inspired by the Notting Hill Carnival and it sounds like a liberation house from the ’90s anthem.

Matt Maltese – Mother

London artist Matt Maltese is back with his brand new single ‘‘Mother’’, the first hint of his upcoming fourth album coming out in 2023. This single is the first new music from Matt’s acclaimed third album ‘‘Good Morning It’s Now Tomorrow’’ which came out last year. Simultaneously, Matt has just completed the UK and European leg of his autumn headline tour, which included a sold-out show at London’s newly reopened Koko.

JIN – The astronaut

BTS member Jin unveils ‘‘The Astronaut’’, a new solo single co-written by Coldplay. It marks the second time the K-pop band has joined forces with the British four-piece as they previously teamed up on the latter’s 2021 song ‘‘My Universe’’. Following this release, Jin will become the first BTS member to enlist for mandatory military service in Korea, and the boyband have plans to reconvene at full strength in 2025.

Montell Fish – Exscape

Sensational ethereal 24-year-old singer-songwriter Montell Fishjust released his new project “Her Love Still Haunts Me Like A Ghost” on October 28th. A 7-track project which finds Montell taking his stripped-down, DIY sound in a brand new direction – introducing vibrant synths and instrumentation, dance-floor-ready tempos and lyricism littered with self-exploration and yearning for lost love. This new single follows on from his enormous track “Hotel” which propelled Montell even further into the limelight.

Stany – Only you ft. Rema & Offset

Afro-French producer Stany teamed up with American rapper Offset and Nigerian sensation Rema for his debut single ‘‘Only You’’. After collaborating with some major artists and djs such as Dj Snake and Justin Bieber, he is ready to shine on his own. His debut album is expected to be out in 2023 and it might feature some blockbusters collaborations.

Venna – Sicily’ box ft. Yussef Dayes, Marco Bernardis & Rocco Palladino

South London-hailing, Grammy Award-winning Saxophonist and producer Venna has returned with an outstanding new single “Sicily’ Box”, featuring esteemed jazz drummer Yussef Dayes, producer and multi-instrumentalist Marco Bernardis, and bassist Rocco Palladino. The single is a breath of fresh air; a masterful collaboration and almost solely instrumental – aside from the beautiful vocal scats, scattered throughout. An ever-building sonic, the single gradually introduces new instruments, tones and energy before fading into silence. The new single lands in the wake of Venna’s debut project VENOLOGY. A delectable six-track jazz project with guest features from the likes of Knucks, Jvck James, JADA and Emil.

LSDXOXO – Freak

Following his nasty first EP which came out earlier this year, Philly-born and Berlin-based producer LSDXOXO just dropped ‘‘Freak’’ as an appetizer of his upcoming debut album. In a press release, LSDXOXO calls the track “something I made to step out of the heady process that is finalizing a debut album as a new writer and even newer vocalist. ‘Freak’ is the closing summary of a summer spent as a digital diva constantly on the move. Tour life isn’t always sexy, but when it is, it’s something to write home about!”
