Tommy Jeans Presents Tommy Collection Spring 2023
by Adriano B.
Tommy Hilfiger introduces the new Tommy Collection by TOMMY JEANS collection. This season, drawing from its roots in hip-hop and urban culture, Tommy Collection delves into the world of lowriders in the Chicano culture of Japan, showcasing a more premium and risky collection.
The Tommy Collection Spring/Summer 2023 collection is made up of 55 pieces that show a contemporary vision of the TOMMY JEANS archives, updated with new prints. Highlights include the red and blue Chicago Windbreaker with detachable sleeves, the low-waisted Aiden baggy jean synonymous with rap culture; the color-block parka, the sleeveless jean vest, the knitted vest and the jockey shirt in nylon. The garments play with proportions and layering, combining preppy aesthetics with skate and hip-hop. All the pieces have been redesigned, bringing a fresh air to the classic silhouettes.
Tommy Collection’s Spring/Summer 2023 campaign is a series of impromptu, action-packed shots by London-based photographer Theo Cottle featuring intimate portraits of rappers and tattoo artists from the lowrider community.
