Tokyo James celebrated ten years of design with the debut of its Fall/Winter 2025 “Midnight” collection at Milan Fashion Week. This milestone show was broadcast from Vici, Victoria Island, Lagos, to Milan, marking the brand’s fifth year in a row on the international fashion calendar. The event highlighted Tokyo James’ growth and its ability to connect fashion capitals like Lagos and Milan.
The FW25 “Midnight” collection is a reflection of the brand’s journey over the past decade. It features Tokyo James’ signature mix of structured shapes and flowing fabrics, along with traditional techniques reimagined in a modern way. The color palette draws inspiration from the nightlife of Lagos, capturing the energy and spirit of the city.
Since its first show at Milan Fashion Week in 2020, Tokyo James has gained international attention for its menswear and gender-fluid designs. The FW25 show attracted Nigerian dignitaries, celebrities, and fashion leaders, further solidifying Lagos’ growing reputation as a fashion hub.
