THUNDERCAT Launches SS24 Collection Exclusively at Dover Street Market
by Adriano Batista

Thundercat, the bassist, singer, and songwriter from Los Angeles, unveils his new limited-edition capsule collection, born from an exclusive partnership with the Dover Street Market London Flagship. This collaboration is timed perfectly with Thundercat’s highly anticipated UK & EU tour, which is expected to sell out rapidly.

The collection is a tribute to the Los Angeles culture that shaped Thundercat’s youth, celebrating elements like Anime, the classic sophistication of heritage fashion brands, and his cherished cat, Tron. It’s a masterful mix of these joyful inspirations combined with the effortless coolness of Thundercat’s musical influences.
The Spring/Summer 2024 series showcases Thundercat’s affinity for Japanese art and pop culture, featuring kimonos crafted in collaboration with the skilled artisans of Robe Japonica. The range also includes collegiate-style cardigans adorned with anime-inspired Thundercat prints and logo details. The nostalgic vibe of the collection is further amplified by a red and white football jersey, embellished with team emblems and Thundercat’s iconic logo.

In a nod to exclusivity, the collection will offer 250 holographic crew necks and 170 distressed, oversized cotton shirts, each piece meticulously designed and produced in Los Angeles, available solely at Dover Street Market London Flagship.

The exclusive line will be launched at Dover Street Market London Flagship starting Tuesday, 2nd April, with availability also on the DSML E-SHOP. To celebrate the launch, Thundercat will grace the Dover Street Market with an intimate live performance on the same day, setting the stage for his sold-out residency at KOKO from the 3rd to the 6th of April. Fans will also have the opportunity to acquire limited pieces during Thundercat’s forthcoming UK & EU tour.
