“The First Sunrise With You” campaign by Bottega Veneta

Luxury Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta is kicking off 2024 by unveiling its new Lunar New Year advertising campaign called “The First Sunrise With You”.
In case you didn’t know, which is very likely because we didn’t either, this new year we are entering is called the year of the dragon, a type of animal that occupies the fifth position in the Chinese zodiacal calendar.
After this small parenthesis offering more information about the dragon, it is time to talk about the campaign itself, composed of a portfolio of images in which we can see (in some of them) a couple formed by a man and a woman, who coincidentally is the Taiwanese actress Shu Qi, exploring Shanghai, walking on the beach or in the mountains.
Besides these different atmospheres mentioned, as the images are shown, we discover the capsule collection that Matthieu Blazy (creative director of the firm) has created for the occasion, characterized by being composed of some pieces that reflect some of the distinctive features of the house, such as the straight-lined tailoring, the different models of sneakers (Andiamo, Sardine, and Orbit), and the bags of different shapes made of plaited leather.
