The B9S Sneakers: Limited & Numbered Dior Creations
by Adriano Batista

The Dior Summer 2024 Men’s Collection, designed by Kim Jones, features a stunning range of sneakers that blend the iconic codes of Dior with the skateboarding culture that inspires the creative director. The B9SS sneakers are available in six different versions, each with its own distinctive style and charm. They can be pre-ordered from January 23 to February 7, 2024, in the United States, China and Europe, exclusively on dior.com.

The B9SS sneakers are a statement of Dior style, enhanced by the emblematic cannage pattern that adorns the leather or satin models in gray, beige and neon yellow. The neon yellow version is a special edition that can only be found on the Dior website. The other three versions are made of tweed and decorated with the D, I, O, R charms in a refined signature. The B9SS sneakers also pay homage to another Dior symbol, the Dior Oblique motif, created by Marc Bohan in 1967, that appears on the laces.

The B9SS sneakers are also innovative. They come with a digital product passport that includes a certificate of authenticity, accessible through a private platform that uses a numeric key embedded in the NFC chip in the sole of each right shoe. This exclusive space offers additional information on the manufacturing process, as well as sneak peeks of future sneaker launches by Kim Jones. Dior thus showcases its inventive spirit, constantly exploring new possibilities with collaborative intelligence.

They are available in a limited edition of 470 for the leather versions and 888 for the tweed models, making them highly coveted objects of desire.
